I love physical computing. There is something so magical about creating code that you can touch! There are many great microcontroller options available, from the Microbit to Arduino and lots more in between. Raspberry Pi just released its first entry to the microcontroller market, the low cost Raspberry Pi Pico. It features 2 MB flash memory, 26 GPIO pins and a temperature sensor.
I am especially excited for the super low $4 price point, the Micro Python programming, and the possibilities! It's currently on backorder but I am anxiously awaiting to experiment and tinker.
I would love to hear about your favorite microcontrollers and projects that your students have created!
