Everywhere you turn, there are teachers feeling the mental and physical toll of teaching through the pandemic.  You’re probably feeling it too. Walk away with practical strategies for setting boundaries now and ways to set yourself up for a successful and balanced school year ahead.

Put systems in place to automate some of your administrative tasks:

  • Post work consistently so absent students can find it.
  • Use an appointment scheduler to facilitate extra help sessions.
  • Implement I/O tests to facilitate immediate feedback for students (Replit instructions)

Bonus tip!  Don’t be afraid to ask for help from your colleagues and supervisors. And to return the favor when you have the space.
