Everywhere you turn, there are teachers feeling the mental and physical toll of teaching through the pandemic.  You’re probably feeling it too. Walk away with practical strategies for setting boundaries now and ways to set yourself up for a successful and balanced school year ahead.

Use email features to find a work/life balance that works for you:

  • Limit notification times or remove work email from your phone
  • Snooze emails until their relevant
  • Use an auto-responder email for FAQ (and follow Jen Manly for more tips!)
  • Schedule emails to be sent during work hours to maintain the work/life balance of the sender and receiver

Bonus tip!  Don’t be afraid to ask for help from your colleagues and supervisors. And to return the favor when you have the space.
