Coding can help you express your thoughts and ideas similar to writing. In this presentation, CS for All Teachers Community Ambassador Michelle Swensson shows how Scratch Jr. can be used to create a "Pitch Your Passion" coding project for students K-5. She shares a lesson plan and resources for how you can implement a two-day project in your classroom so students can create coding projects that are meaningful to them.
