Computer science is about using technology to solve complex problems in the world in which we live. Many of the problems that are solved are solved by a non-diverse group of people who have the skills to create technology-driven solutions. It is important to ensure the field of computer science is diverse, well-informed and views the world’s problems with empathy and creativity.
