Code Savvy and CSTA-MN are excited to announce an upcoming virtual PD event related to K-12 computer science education: MNCodes May Computer Science Ed Workshops on Saturday, May 15th from 9-11:30am, CT. Anyone interested in K12 CS Ed is welcome to attend! CSTA-MN members can attend for free! Click here to become a CSTA-MN member (also free).
The MNCodes Computer Science Ed Workshops will feature a variety of topics, including:
- CS Content Integration
- Strategies for Effective and Inclusive CS Teaching -- facilitated by CS for All Teachers Ambassadors, Vanessa Jones and Andrea Wilson Vazquez
- Cybersecurity with Cyber.org
- Teaching with MobileCSP and CSAwesome with National Center for Computer Science Education
The MNCodes May CSEd Workshops are a chance for any K-12 educators who are interested in computer science, from across Minnesota, the US, and the world, to come together to connect, learn and share around topics of mutual interest.
We hope that this event will bring the K-12 CS education community together to learn and share, and to keep momentum going for CSforAll during these unprecedented times!
