In this webinar we briefly explored the benefits of Python as a programming language for students. Ambassador and Computer Science Educator, Jenn Vermillion, walked participants through the basics needed to begin programming in Python. She also shared teacher friendly resources for continued learning after the webinar, and she shared some of her tried and true classroom Python warm-ups, programming labs, projects, and assessments. The content is most appropriate for upper middle and high school teachers, however it is adaptable for upper elementary teachers.
