Registration for CodeHouse's Tech Exposure Day: The Virtual Field Trip is NOW OPEN!
The event will take place on November 12th, at 8:00AM -12:30PM PST / 11:00 AM EST - 3:30PM EST (Registration deadline is November 5th 11:59PM PST).
Our goal at CodeHouse has always been to expose Black and Latinx high school students to careers and pathways in the tech ecosystem (past in-person event recap). With this year’s virtual Tech Exposure Day we plan to do just that (promo video).
Attached is a one-pager of the event that contains the class registration process for educators that plan to bring their students to the event. Kindly follow the steps outlined there to ensure your students attend (steps found on our website here too)!
The class registration form required to attend the event asks all educators to attach an excel spreadsheet of the student attendee's first name, last name and email addresses. We will send student and teacher event links the week of Nov. 12th via the given emails (please ensure educators have parental consent before they fill out the form). We will follow up with the agenda for the day via the emails provided as we get closer.
We will also have two informationals to learn more about the event, the event platform (Hopin), and a live Q&A (Tuesday, October 6th at 5 pm PST/8 pm EST or Wednesday, October 7th at 2 pm PST/5 pm EST). Please sign up via the website.
For any questions, please redirect educators to email firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for your support!
