COMPUTER SCIENCE (CS) AND YOU
What have you learned working with this community? Has anything in particular surprised you?
I am invigorated by the community's use of resources and continued growth! The community has only gotten more diverse and helpful to computer science instructors.
What do you enjoy most about working on CS for All Teachers?
I love helping provide teachers of computer science with a community. Seeing resources implemented in classrooms and discussions within the community's website is the best part of working on CS for All Teachers.
TELL US MORE!
What is your first memory about CS?
I actually wasn't exposed to computer science instruction until my graduate degree, so my first computer science-related memory is walking into my CS introductory seminar feeling nervous and scared! I walked out at the end of the quarter loving computer science!
Outside of CS for All Teachers, what types of projects do you work on?
Outside of CS for All Teachers, I work on social-emotional learning and education intervention evaluation projects. I assist in conducting quantitative study reviews for meta analysis and support education survey data collections in processing, analyzing, and reporting data.
What program or app can you absolutely not live without? What makes it so indispensable?
I could not live without my camera app! I love taking photos!
How do you unwind or recharge after a long day (week, month, etc.) of work? Any hobbies, special talents, or favorite vacation spots you'd like to share?
I love cooking! I am not very good at it, but it has been so much fun learning!
