COMPUTER SCIENCE (CS) AND YOU
What have you learned working with this community?
The CS for All Teachers community introduced me to the world of CS education. I was brand new to CS when starting on this project (my background instead was with creating and supporting virtual communities). The community helped to open my eyes to all of the possibilities that exist for CS education from PreK to 12th grade. I'm always in awe of our members' creativity and innovation.
What do you enjoy most about working on CS for All Teachers?
My favorite part of working on this project is getting to know the teachers, particularly our community ambassadors. They are an amazing group of teacher leaders who inspire me daily.
Write a poem or haiku describing what working with this community and fellow CS for All Teachers staff is like.
CS for all, y'all
Includes all the teachers too
So all kids can learn

What is your first memory about CS?
I remember playing games in my gifted enrichment class on an Apple iie.
Outside of CS for All Teachers, what types of projects do you work on?
My work focuses on online learning and community-building. Whether it's teachers or state-level administrators, I help to ensure active engagement through effective virtual learning strategies.
What program or app can you absolutely not live without? What makes it so indispensable?
My online calendar: How did I ever know where to go or what to do without it?!
How do you unwind or recharge after a long day (week, month, etc.) of work? Any hobbies, special talents, or favorite vacation spots you'd like to share?
I'm a fan of a nice nap and any vacation with a view of the beach and a fruity cocktail.
