2018 NSF STEM for All Video Showcase

The 2018 STEM for All Video Showcase: Transforming the Educational Landscape will be held online between May 14-21, 2018. This year’s theme is “Transforming the STEM Education Landscape.” The annual online event hosts between 100-200 three-minute video presentations from federally-funded projects that aim to improve science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and computer science (CS) education. If you are engaged in a similar project, you are invited to submit a video to the showcase and discuss it with researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and the general public.

Suggestions to consider. The videos should highlight initiatives for students of all ages, from K-12 through graduate school and adult learners. Successful videos will describe the need that inspired your project, your intervention, innovation, or research, and discuss your project's impact and how you will measure it. Videos will cover a wide range of topics including, science, mathematics, computer science, engineering, cyberlearning, citizen science, maker spaces, mentoring, informal learning, professional development, research and evaluation, NGSS and the Common Core.

Requirements: Videos should address at least one of the following:

  • Partnerships that advance education
  • Broadening participation and access to high quality STEM experiences
  • Innovative practices transforming education
  • Research informing STEM learning and teaching

Additionally, the presenter must register and review the video requirements before submitting. Once you have registered and have been approved, you can submit your video on the website between March 15-25, 2018. During the interactive event, thousands of participants will view the videos, partake in discussions with presenters, and vote for their favorites.
